Choosing a caregiver to assist you, a parent, another loved one or friend is no small decision. Where do you turn, how do you decide which company to use, and what kind of caregiver do you need? At CareMinders® Home Care we begin building a relationship with you from the start, and continually strengthen it, step-by-step, day-by-day, through periodic visits and detailed task reporting of activities our caregivers performed during the day.
The key to providing personalized care to you begins with our preparing an in-home assessment which helps us determine your needs. We then develop an individualized care plan with you that will meet your needs and goals. Part of the assessment process includes determining the characteristics of the ideal caregiver that satisfies your care plan. Before we suggest a specific caregiver to assist you, we make all efforts to match their qualifications, interests, and unique characteristics with your preferences.

AWARDED ACCREDITATION FROM THE JOINT COMMISSION
Dunwoody, Georgia, December 1, 2009 – By demonstrating compliance with The Joint Commission‘s high national standards for health care quality and safety, CareMinders® Home Care in Dunwoody, Georgia, has earned the Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval™.
"In becoming accredited, CareMinders® Home Care in Dunwoody, Georgia, was evaluated against a set of national standards by The Joint Commission’s surveyor team experienced in the delivery of home care services,” says Gina Zimmermann, M.S., senior executive director, The Joint Commission. “Achieving this accreditation means that Dunwoody's CareMinders® Home Care is committed to providing both high quality care and safe care to its clients.”
The Joint Commission conducted an unannounced, on-site evaluation of Dunwoody, Georgia's CareMinders® Home Care. The accreditation award recognizes their dedication to complying with the Joint Commission’s state-of-the-art standards on a continuous basis.
Founded in 1951, The Joint Commission seeks to continuously improve the safety and quality of care provided to the public through the provision of health care accreditation and related services that support performance improvement in health care organizations. The Joint Commission evaluates and accredits more than 15,000 health care organizations and programs in the United States, including more than 8,000 hospitals and home care organizations, and more than 6,800 other health care organizations that provide long term care, assisted living, behavioral health care, laboratory and ambulatory care services. The Joint Commission also accredits health plans, integrated delivery networks, and other managed care entities. In addition, The Joint Commission provides certification of disease-specific care programs, primary stroke centers, and health care staffing services. An independent, not-for-profit organization, The Joint Commission is the nation's oldest and largest standards-setting and accrediting body in health care.
